Annual Water Quality Report reveals “What is in your drinking water and why?

Want to know “what is in your drinking water and why?” That’s the purpose behind the MWA publishing the 2024 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also referred to as our annual Water Quality Report.
This year’s CCR will be posted on the MWA website prior to July 1, and it will include laboratory data on MWA water quality collected from Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2023.
The results of this year’s report indicate the MWA had no violations of drinking water quality standards during the 2023 calendar year, as determined by federal and state regulatory agencies. Thus, we are in complete compliance with permitted levels of potential contaminants, which are categorized as inorganic, organic, micro-biological, or as the result of disinfectants or disinfectant by-products from the water treatment process.
The intent of the CCR is to provide our customers with empirical, scientific evidence of MWA drinking water quality and safety so they can make informed public health choices about tap water consumption.
The 2024 MWA Consumer Confidence Report will be available online for your review by July 1.
